Heartland Alliance Refugee Health Programs

Heartland Alliance Refugee Health Programs (RHP) provides culturally competent and linguistically appropriate outreach services to meet the health and nutrition education needs of newly arriving refugees, primarily on the North side of Chicago. RHP is a program of Heartland Health Outreach.

The RHP:

• trains health promoters
• conducts educational workshops for newly arrived refugees
• provides nutrition counseling and clinical services
• develops and disseminates multilingual health education material
